Our Commitment
At Wild Boar Bike Racks, we stand behind the quality of every product we sell. This policy outlines your rights and our process for returns and refunds in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Your Statutory Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the ACL.
Faulty or Defective Goods
If your product arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or fails to perform as described, please contact us within 30 days of delivery at sales@wildboarbikeracks.com.au.
We will ask you to provide:
- Your order number
- A description of the fault
- Photos or video evidence where applicable
Depending on the nature of the fault, we will offer a repair, replacement, or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.
For major failures (as defined under the ACL), you may choose your preferred remedy.
Manufacturer Warranty
For your peace of mind, we include a Lifetime Warranty on every rack we sell (base set) and a 2-year Warranty on all other parts.
Change-of-Mind Returns
We accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days of delivery, subject to the following conditions:
- The item is unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging
- All original accessories, hardware, and documentation are included
- The item is in resalable condition
Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in return transit.
A restocking fee of 10% may apply to change-of-mind returns.
Change-of-mind returns are not accepted for items that have been installed, modified, or show signs of use.
How to Initiate a Return
- Email sales@wildboarbikeracks.com.au with your order number and reason for return
- Our team will respond within 2 business days with return authorisation and instructions
- Ship the item to our returns address: 10 Abbotts Road, Dandenong South, Victoria, Australia
- Once received and inspected, we will process your refund or replacement
Refund Timeframes
Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of us receiving and inspecting the returned item. Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to process the credit.
Exclusions
We do not accept returns for:
- Items damaged due to misuse, improper installation, or failure to follow instructions
- Items returned without prior authorisation
- Items returned outside the applicable return window
